Founded in 2005 and based in Holon, AR Ofek is one of Israel’s leading contractors for lighting, electricity and communication infrastructures for transportation networks.
AR Ofek Lighting Infrastructure Ltd. was established in 2005 by Efi Akiva, owner and CEO. The company initially focused on lighting infrastructure and gradually expanded into communication, control and electrical infrastructures for a wide range of public projects. Today, AR Ofek specializes in transport‑domain infrastructure — roads, railway stations, tunnels and traffic‑light systems — and is considered one of Israel’s major players in these fields.
The company holds an unlimited contractor classification in Electricity & Communication, is authorized to participate in government tenders and complies with the ISO 9001:2015 quality‑management standard. In addition, AR Ofek operates an internal quality‑control system to rigorously verify that each installed system meets the highest standards.
